Located next to Haitan Bay in Pingtan, Fujian province, Longwangtou is one of the largest natural bathing beaches in China. It is 500 meters in width and 9.5 kilometers in length, covering an area of 21 hectares in total.

The pristine white sandy beach is flanked by a thick casuarina forest on one side, and water clear enough to see the seabed on the other. The flat beach is also an ideal place for a variety of beach sports including beach volleyball and frisbee throwing.

Facing east, Longwangtou is also a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of the sunrise over the sea.

Tourists are drawn to the beach each summer to see the Cross-Straits Sand Sculpture Festival and Kiteboard Tour Asia.
