Time for kelp harvest in Pingtan

China’s kelp output tops the world.Being the fifth largest island in China,Pingtan is no stranger to kelp.In Pingtan, fishermen regularly plant the seedlings in early Dec. and reap the kelps in May the following year.Kelp rich in nutrients has been hailed as a popular cooking ingredient.
