China Haitan Museum of Coastal Defense

It is the first privately-owned coastal defense museum in China with its theme “Ancient China’s Coastal Defense and Naval Culture”. The museum, built in China’s tertiary-level standards, redisplays the scenes for the local people’s glorious history of resistance against foreign aggression mainly during the dynasties of Ming(1368-1644 AD) and Qing (1636-1912 AD).
