Pingtan ends annual fishing ban

Fishing boats of all sizes sailed out of the harbor to the sea at the midday of August 1 right after the lifting of a three-month fishing moratorium on Southeast China’s Pingtan Island, and came back later with boatfuls of seafood. The yearly fishing moratorium was imposed on May 1, banning all fishing activities in summer.[Photo/ptnet.cn]
