“We have brought archaeological relics from the Austronesian Archaeological Research Base, as well as some creative artworks designed after the relics and Austronesian totems. Many well-known museums are participating in the MPT Expo this time such as the Palace Museum and the National Museum of China, so it is a great opportunity for us to exchange on expertise which is what we are here for,” expressed Chen Sheng, Deputy Director of Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone Museum.

These big museums are experienced in the cultural artwork industry for a good amount of time and have established a well-developed operating system. Hence, it would be helpful to borrow their expertise to enhance Pingtan’s construction of the cultural artwork industry,” added Chen.

The Chinese Museums and Relevant Products and Technologies Exposition is the largest national-level museum exhibition and the most influential biennial cultural event in China and even Asia.

The 8th MPT Expo this year has attracted 613 museums and enterprises and was divided into 4 different categories, namely, exhibitions, seminars, public welfare activities, and project promotion.
