Sources reported that the construction of Pingtan International Marine Industry Logistics Park is currently underway and anticipated to finish capping work before the Spring Festival. Covering an area of 40,000 sqm, the premises will comprise 8 individual buildings equipped with refrigerated storages for cold chain, processing workshops, ammonia engine rooms, a distribution center, warehouses and offices. Out of these, two buildings respectively for the processing workshops and the distribution center have just been capped. The newly added cold chain facilities and equipment in this logistics park will make complete Pingtan's logistic development and boost the island's sea produce locally and regionally.
