"Loutaihui" implies an encounter of Pingtan's Shanglou Village and Taiwan. Pingtan, being the closest place on the Chinese mainland to Taiwan, naturally embodies a rich and integrative culture of Pingtan and Taiwan. And "Loutaihui" is the "melting pot" where young locals and Taiwan youths gather to share their culture and ideas. On January 17,2019, Loutaihui held a special Spring Couplet writing or Chunlian writing.
