The 9th Cross-Straits Guoxue Lecture is set to take place at 7 pm at Building No.34, Taiwan Entrepreneurial Park of Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone.

The guest speaker Li Jinglin, who is a professor at the School of Philosophy and Sociology of Beijing Normal University, will speak on filial piety and benevolence.

Professor Li is also a doctoral supervisor and the vice president of the Chinese Philosophy History Society, the vice president of the Chinese Confucius Institute, and a member of Academic Committee of International Confucian Association. He specializes in Confucianism, Taoist philosophy and Chinese culture.
