"City to City", a Chinese talk show featuring some of China and the world's most exotic touristic cities, aired by one of China's most watched TV channels, CCTV-4 featured Pingtan Island alongside Krabi, Thailand in its recent episode. The program showcases the rich cultures and amazing sceneries of the two island cities.

Pingtan, the fifth largest island in China and facing Taiwan across the Taiwan Straits, is made up of 126 islets with its main nucleus, Haitan Island. Pingtan has stood against time and tide, with traces of ancient human civilization dating back to as early as six or seven thousand years ago.

"City to City" is the only long-running talk show in the world which discusses and showcases cities from home and abroad .
