Are you a foodie like me? Then you must try one of Pingtan’s delicacies: Deep-fried Prawns with Wasabi Sauce. Here's a quick guide to make the dish.

Buy a catty of prawns, wash them and remove the intestinal tract, then butterfly cut for better seasoning. Julienne some spring onions, ginger and red chilies, and place them aside after washing them. Now is the time to prepare for the secret ingredient to this dish, Japanese wasabi. Take out those wasabi packets you have been saving from your meals in Japanese diners and mix equal portions of wasabi and soy sauce. By now, the food material for this dish is ready.

Deep fry your prawns in hot oil quickly before taking them out and placing them nicely in a serving plate. Then garnish the deep-fried prawns with shredded ginger, red chilies and spring onions and pour the wasabi sauce on them. Don’t forget the last step: pour some hot oil on the prawns. Ahhhh...smells divine. Simple, isn't it?
