4 gold and 1 silver for Pingtan in kite-boarding competition

3 games, 17 nations and 14 honors summed up an exciting week at the 2019 Asia Kiteboarding Tournament in Guangxi, China. At the closing ceremony on May 29, homegrown ace, Chen Jingle did it again with unbelievable 5 medals (4 gold and 1 silver), placing her at the first place with the most gold won. Running alongside the Asia Kiteboarding Tournament are two other national-level games: National Kiteboarding Tournament (Beihai) and China's 2nd Youth Kiteboarding Finals.
According to sources, the contest has drawn 200 athletes from 17 countries across the world, including USA, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, and China. Breaking down the 14 awards respectively, 8 honors are for the National Kiteboarding Tournament, 4 for Asia Kiteboarding with an addition of 1 exclusive Sportsmanship Award, and 1 grand prize for China's 2nd Youth Kiteboarding Finals.
In the games, Pingtan's players Chen Jingle and Chen Yiman respectively secured the 2nd and the 5th place in China's 2nd Youth Kiteboarding Finals. Sponsored by the General Administration of Sports of China, the game is allegedly one of China's biggest kiteboarding events with the most participation to date.
At the National Kiteboarding Tournament (Beihai), Chen Jingle won 3 gold medals respectively in the women's professional race, youth's twintip and women's hydrofoil categories.
Chen also successfully snitched her final victory in the women's hydrofoil board at the Asia Kiteboarding Tournament before the end of the week. Currently, Chen is making her way to Marseille, France for the 2019 Kiteboarding World Cup Finals. We wish her the best of luck and another beautiful victory for China.
