“Journey of Root-seeking", a Guoxue summer camp sponsored by All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese kicked off on July 30 in Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone, Chinese mainland's closest neighbor of Taiwan.

24 Chinese teenagers from Argentina, Canada and Hong Kong joined in the 5-day root-seeking camp. This summer camp will help the overseas Chinese youths appreciate the profound Chinese culture and charms of Pingtan which aims at building itself into an international tourism island.
