The 17th Cross-Straits Guoxue Lecture will be held tonight, December 20, from 19:00 to 22:00, at: Block.34, Cross-Straits Center of Guoxue, Taiwan Entrepreneurial Park, Pingtan.

Professor Qin Huizhu from Taiwan will be shedding light on the origins and history of Taiwan literatures.

Professor Qin Huizhu

Professor Qin is an assistant professor at the Chinese Culture University of Taiwan. Having once taught at Fu Jen Catholic University and Tamkang University, her field of research revolves mostly on the Zaju opera (one kind of Chinese operas) in the Yuan Dynasty (1271—1368), modern and contemporary Taiwan literatures, and Taiwan novels.
