19 projects, with an accumulated investment of 3.6 billion yuan, were inaugurated on Nov. 26 in Pingtan, an island city off Fujian province.The projects cover various industries and construction of infrastructures to improve people’s livelihood.

Among them, 9 were listed as major projects in Fujian, including Ocean Science and Technology Cultural Center, and Big Data Center.

Other 10 projects are mainly for infrastructure improvement, such as a commercial mortar plant, a gas station, conservation for traditional villages, and renovation of water supply network.
