Workers are racing against time to put the finishing touches to the Integrated Transportation Hub of Pingtan, an island city off East China’s Fujian province. The hub brings together multiple transportation such as high-speed rail, buses, taxis and online car-hailing, providing passengers with experience featuring "zero transfer" and "seamless connection".The hub as a whole looks like a "violin" from above, combining the elements of local stone houses with modern architecture.The hub houses the Pingtan Railway Station, the terminal of the Beijing-Pingtan Railway with a design speed of 200 kph.
