Zhang Guangjun, general manager of Pingtan Hongxin Real Estate Development Co stated that Wuyue Plaza is a comprehensive commercial project integrating commerce, leisure, office and high-end residential buildings. The entire project covers an area of 80,000 square meters, including hypermarkets and IMAX cinemas. 168 merchants will settle in, among which 60% of brands will enter Pingtan for the first time.

Zhang Guangjun said: "Pingtan boasts the unparalleled policies advantages arising from status as an international tourism island, a comprehensive pilot zone and a free trade zone, and its superior geographical location, so we chose Pingtan as the third foothold in E China’s Fujian province.

According to reports, Pingtan Wuyue Plaza will officially open on Dec 18, 2022.
