Pingtan signs RMB 3.367B projects at DCS

Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone clinched 14 digital economy projects worth 3.367 billion yuan over the two-day 4th Digital China Summit (DGS) in Fuzhou, the capital of East China's Fujian province, exhibiting breakthroughs in the information technology sector and making innovations in the digital revolution.

These projects cover the fields of smart cultural tourism, smart health care, smart transportation, etc., and will inject new vitality and new momentum into the development of the digital economy in the pilot zone.

Among these projects, the Strait Digital Complex takes up an estimated investment of 650 million yuan and also the reputation of being a pioneer digital city on the island. Capital, technology, talents, and policies will be made and sourced to foster a conducive ecology for the digital economy centered on cloud computing, IT innovation, data agglomeration management, intelligent data processing, dissemination of big data, trading, and digital technology development and utilization.

The Beidou Comprehensive Application Demonstration Project has a total investment of 115 million yuan. The project will rely on domestic and foreign companies that are influential in the field of satellite navigation research or service, capable of providing regional services and supporting services , and jointly build the Beidou International Cooperation Application Center. At the same time, the Beidou spatio-temporal database will be built, which includes cloud infrastructure, data resources and the Beidou spatio-temporal data integrated service platform.
