Project Profile:

The No. 3 berth modification project construction started on November 22, 2019. The project includes the construction of a passenger transportation inspection center, a parking lot, and the transformation of the existing 50,000-ton berth into a 150,000-ton passenger and cargo liner berth. This project is a key water transportation project in E China’s Fujian province. It is the second cruise terminal located in the northern region of the western Taiwan Straits next to the Xiamen International Cruise Terminal in Fujian.

Upon completion, it will drastically increase Pingtan's passenger traffic to Taiwan and beyond, which is conducive to enhancing the popularity and reputation of Pingtan that emerges as a rising international tourism island.
