60 teams from across China will compete for four days, starting from June 17 (Beijing Time) in Pingtan, a rising international tourism island in China. In preparation for the Tokyo Olympics 2022, the national team will join in for the second time in Pingtan.

The arena is set at Longwangtou Bathing Beach, one of the largest bathing beaches in China. It’s the fifth consecutive year that Pingtan has held such a competition.

The event is hosted by the Chinese Volleyball Association, Fujian Provincial Sports Bureau, and the Administrative Committee of Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone. Pingtan is the first leg of the national beach volleyball competition this year.
