A platform has been launched, further making moves to enhance the business-friendly environment in Pingtan, an island city off E China’s Fujian province. The platform, the first of its kind in Fujian is designed for the registration, alteration, and cancellation of a domestic-funded enterprise. All procedures go online.

On the morning of June 24, Lin Gui, a shareholder of Fujian Yunpan Technology Co., Ltd., received a new business license after business alteration at the Administrative Service Center of Pingtan. This is also the first company in Pingtan to experience the service since the launch of the platform.

“Previously, we had to wait in line to go through business at the service counter with a bunch of paper documents. Now we can process by just sitting in the office and clicking the mouse, saving manpower. And it takes less than one day, saving time. ” When it comes to the initiative, Lin nods, satisfied.

In addition to online service, applicants can also choose the mode combining “filing online” and “handling offline” to meet the diversified registration needs. The mailing service has also been introduced, fulfilling a truly hassle-free service.

According to statistics, business changes, cancellations, and filing for registrations account for over 60% of the total business of corporate registration. The reform not only slashes the overall cost for corporate registration, simplifies the procedures, but also enables remote identity authentication via face verification to avoid problems such as fraudulent use of identity arising from the manual signature.
