The other day, the quarter finals of the fourth Fujian Province Square Dancing Competition (Pingtan Division) drew to an end in Pingtan, an island city of E China’s Fujian province.

 Mengzhilan Dance Squad stands out and claims the title with the work featuring “fisherwomen verve”.

A total of 8 teams from across Pingtan participated in the activity. In the end, Mengzhilan Dance Squad stood out and claimed the title with the work featuring “fisherwomen verve”. The winning team advanced to the finals in Fujian.

“Art originates from life. We hope to show the tremendous progress of Pingtan and the happy life of the people through the works,” said Lin Feng, a member of Mengzhilan Dance Squad.

Xue Lichao, head of Pingtan Convergence Media Center, expressed the hope that through the cultural activity, Pingtan will further enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the grassroots and create a brand for public cultural service.
