en.ptnet.cn | Updated:2021-09-13More than 30 trainees from across the country including Zhejiang, Liaoning, and Taiwan gathered on Sept.10 in the Livestream Base of the Cross-Straits Industrial Park of Pingtan, Chinese mainland’s closest neighbor of Taiwan. Among the group, some are beginners in the e-commerce business, while others are new startups.
Li Jixiong, a young man in Pingtan, started a food processing business with his friends. Puzzled by the existing scattered and restricted sales channels, he signed up for the training, hoping to get away from the predicament in the sales model and increase online sales.
The training base covers an area of 1,500 square meters and houses a maker center, a production selection center, and a livestreamer training center. It is also equipped with a product photostudio and livestreaming studios.
"The local government attaches great importance to the livestreaming industry, and has enacted many policies to support its development, and built the base." Chen Shanghui, deputy manager of the Operation Department of Fujian KJT Cross-Border E-Commerce Co., Ltd., that the trained livestreamers can be signed to work or start a business at the base.
The course is carried out in a practice mode for five days, focusing on livestreaming procedures, controlling the rhythm of the livestream studio, and attracting traffic and followers.
