RMB 3.443B! Pingtan’s third key projects break ground
en.ptnet.cn | Updated:2021-10-27Ground-breaking ceremony for the third batch of major projects in Pingtan, the closest place on the Chinese mainland to the island of Taiwan was held on Oct. 25.
There are a total of 20 projects including 7 industrial projects, 5 projects for people’s livelihood, and 8 infrastructure projects, with a total investment of 3.443 billion yuan.
New projects by administrative district as follows:
4 projects totaling 342 million yuan include the Jinzun Shijia Wine Supply Chain Base and the renovation of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Jinjing Administrative District;
9 projects containing community restoration amount to 2.492 billion yuan in Haitan Administrative District;
3 projects comprised of a logistics park and a tunneling machinery manufacturing base add up to 333 million yuan in Junshan Administrative District;
2 projects for the preservation and exploitation of the stone houses and the prevention of the geological disasters stand at 26 million yuan Suping Administrative District;
There are two other projects, including a cross-district 5G network coverage project and a rural water supply project, with an aggregated investment of 250 million yuan.
Among them, the 120-million-yuan Yingxin International Logistics Park serves as a logistic hub, a procurement center, and supplier operations, to boost the high-quality development of the marine economy in Pingtan.
