Jinjing Port of Pingtan, Chinese mainland’s closest neighbor of Taiwan, offered crew change for international vessels. It is the first time Pingtan welcomes crew change operations, marking a milestone in maritime trade for the rising international tourism island.

On Dec. 1, 11 off-duty crew members of "Lufeng" ran a nucleic acid test at customs. Upon confirmation of negative test results, the crew was transported to pre-designated hotels for further medical observation and self-quarantine. Soon, 11 new crew boarded the ship and accomplished the shift change.
