The 2021 Cross-Straits Street Dance Competition Finals is slated to take place on Dec. 12 in Pingtan, Chinese mainland’s closest neighbor of Taiwan. Over 100 dancers will gather.

Under the guidance of the All-China Youth Federation, the event is hosted by the Fujian Provincial Youth Federation and the Administrative Committee of Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone.

Street dance has a wide audience and is one of the favorite art forms for youngsters. After rounds of selection, the finals and awarding ceremony of this year’s competition lands in Pingtan to further promote cross-Straits exchanges and the construction of Pingtan International Tourism Island.
