The 2021 National (Fujian Leg) Youth Baseball Open took off from Dec. 4 to 5 in Pingtan, an island city off E China’s Fujian province. 220 young athletes from Fujian and Guangdong joined in the competition. 

In recent years, Fujian and Taiwan have been working on the integrative development of the sports. Fujian is making efforts in the promotion of the sports across the province. Pingtan is striving to build a national baseball and softball base. 

This event is hosted by the Tourism, Culture and Sports Bureau of Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone and organized by the Fujian Baseball and Softball Association.
