Common Homeland Forum held in Pingtan attracts media attention[File photo]

Themed "Good Life, Good Future", this year’s forum invites representatives of relevant political parties in Taiwan, pro-unification groups, various trade associations, Taiwan businesspeople and youth and representatives from all walks of life on the mainland. Pingtan has been holding the forum for 10 consecutive years.

By then, guest representatives from both sides of the Taiwan Straits will give keynote speeches, and experts will voice their opinions.

Participants will weigh in on agendas of building Pingtan into cross-Straits hubs for freight transport, people-to-people and culture exchanges, the main experimental zone for cross-Straits integration, and an important base for research on integrative development across the Straits.
