Fujian Province, E China held a ground-breaking ceremony for new projects for its the fourth quarter on Dec. 23, seeing 15 new projects worth 1.83 billion yuan covering infrastructure, cultural tourism, and industrial projects launched in Pingtan International Tourism Island.

Pingtan Cold Chain Production Base for Fresh Produce plans an aggregated investment of 260 million yuan and a construction area of approximately 35,000 square meters. The base will function as the production and deep processing of fresh produces, refrigerated storage and transportation, wholesale and retail and others.
