Pingtan, E. China's Fujian province welcomed the completion of its first smart sports park.

Located at Ruyi Lake Park, the fitness trail along the lake comes with a real-time environment monitor, powerful and sophisticated enough to tell the wind speed, PM2.5 readings, temperature, humidity, and even joggers' heart rate (bpm).

Through a smart screen, citizens can register to track their trajectory, workout intensity, and numbers of laps.

In addition, there is a variety of sophisticatedfitness equipment, all powered by solar energy.
