Colby worked for Sichuan Agriculture University in 2019,where he found love.
In October 2021, Colby moved to Pingtan, a rising international tourism island in China, after his girlfriend relocated to the city for a new job.
Colby got a gist of Pingtan from his girlfriend, who had settled down in the city two months earlier. As a sand and waves person, this coastal city was a dream. Upon settling down, Colby explored the island in no time, leaving his trails on Nanzhai Stone Forest, the Northern Ecological Corridor, Mount General, and every corner of the island.
The blue sky, the vast sea, the beautiful scenery, and the delectable seafood left a deep impression on the newcomer. Indeed, Pingtan is a tranquil and beautiful coastal city, perfect for living and working.
"Initially, I came to Pingtan for love. Yet now, I'm romanced by the scenery and seafood of Pingtan," added Colby.
During his stay in Pingtan, Colby increasingly falls in love with Pingtan, and plans to stay here for a few more years.
