JD collaborative warehouse opens in Pingtan

Chinese e-commerce giant JD opened a collaborative warehouse on February 18 in Pingtan, an island city off the coast of Fujian Province as well as part of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone.The move has placed Pingtan as Fujian's most comprehensive port for cross-border e-commerce.

The Pingtan JD Collaborative Warehouse is located in the Pingtan Cross-border E-commerce Park, with an area of more than 9,000 square meters. The warehouse mainly keeps imported commodities such as beauty products, health products, and baby products.

Pingtan JD Collaborative Warehouse provides merchants with comprehensive cross-border bonded services and one-stop logistics solutions for cross-border traders with cargo collection, allocation, customs clearance, and warehousing.

Chen Xiaowen, deputy general manager of Fujian Lanhe Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., the warehouse operator, said they usually receive close to 1,000 orders a day. The number is to reach about 10,000 a day in the long run.

At present, cross-border e-commerce service providers such as Cainiao, JD.com, Vipshop, Xiaohongshu, Pinduoduo, Kaola.com, and Kuaishou have settled in Pingtan Port.
