Cuiyuan Park is on a 7.3-hectare plot of land in downtown Pingtan. Formerly, the park was a tree nursery for Pingtan's foresty department, but in 1993 the park opened to the public. Thanks to the improvement over the years, the park now has diversified areas for cultural and artistic performances, elderly sports, sightseeing, etc.
