7th anniversary of Pingtan Pilot Free Trade Zone

The Chinese State Council officially established China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone (hereinafter, referred to as Pingtan Free Trade Zone) on April 21, 2015. Since then, the island has forged ahead on auto-pilot mode.

Property online execution model and other 128 "institutional improvements" have taken root here and set an exemplary model for the entire country.

With fast and convenient customs clearance and low cost of shipping, Pingtan has become the first choice for many trading enterprises.


Jinjing port has turned into the first port in the province to pioneer 4 national designated supervision sites, including imported fruits and chilled aquatic products.


To establish a common homeland for compatriots across the Straits, Pingtan has set-up a comprehensive customs clearance facilitation system, including declaration, verification, and release.


More than 90,000 vendors registered their license on a "smart registration platform," which helps realize greater inclusivity and access to the market.

Pingtan also piloted the nation's first credit inquiry service for Taiwan businesses and compatriots, which helps facilitate credit checks, guarantees, and numerous other services on financing.

The adoption of professional qualifications for Taiwan compatriots and the "cross-Straits credit sharing services" are unique reform experiences, serving as a model for promoting cross-Straits integration.

On April 19, Pingtan secured a live stream base with TikTok International and an Australian pharmaceutical brand. 

Optimizing the whole chain service mechanism, a series of high-quality projects were clinched, including iFLYTEK and the "Maritime Pingtan" marine equipment projects.


In addition, Pingtan also prioritized inter-departmental adminstrations and encouraged system reform to shorten processing time for businesses. To boost market vitality and draw more potential investors, Pingtan has also upgraded its incentive packages.
