Pingtan International Performing Arts Center is scheduled to be on trial operation on May 28, and Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra will be invited to stage a symphony concert of famous musical compositions from home and abroad.

Founded in 1998, Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra is known as the "Gilding Icon" in the coastal city of Xiamen. The performance includes oriental charms such as The Running Stream, A Place Far Away, and Jasmine Flower, as well as Western classics like the fantasy overture Romeo and Juliet, the overture of opera Carmen, and Voices of Spring.

As a city lounge and a palace of art, Pingtan International Performing Arts Center includes a 1,500-seat theater, a 400-seat multi-function hall, and a public cultural service center. The construction integrates the urban and ocean landscape and has become a cultural landmark in Pingtan.

According to sources from the Cultural Tourism Group in Pingtan, the Center will create art festivals and introduce classic concerts, stage plays, and musicals from across the globe, serving as a window for international cultural and artistic exchanges.
