The 20^th China Straits Innovation and Projects Fair (CSIPF) wrapped up in Fuzhou, the capital city of E China’s Fujian province. Pingtan, an island city off E China’s Fujian province led a delegation to show off their products.

China General Nuclear Power (Fujian) Wind Power Co., Ltd. aroused strong interest from exhibitors in the field with its offshore photovoltaic power generation project in Pingtan. It's reported that upon completion, the Pingtan Offshore Photovoltaic Power Generation Project can generate 59.5 million kWh of clean electricity every year, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 147.5 tons, and create an output value of 650 million yuan.

The project will become the first offshore photovoltaic power station in Fujian and the first centralized photovoltaic power station on Pingtan Island. Meanwhile, Pingtan is stepping up its effort to build itself into an international tourism island. It will be an amazing addition to the island scenery.

Co-founded by Zhejiang Shenyan Precision Medical Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Shenyan Health Industry Group and Pingtan Emerging Industry Investment and Development Co., Ltd., Pingtan Shenyan Biotechnology Co., Ltd., established in April 2021，is dedicated to cell storage, cell preparation and translational research on clinical application. At present, the company has settled in Pingtan Emerging Industrial Park.

The company was authorized as the “Regional Cell Storage Base in Fujian” by Beijing Biobank in February this year thanks to its complete technical system and perfect quality assurance in the five modules of cell collection and storage, cell preparation and research, cell clinical and anti-aging applications, and comprehensive health management services.

“More people can become aware of the importance of cell storage to health via the fair. The company mainly focuses on cell storage in Pingtan,” said Lin Yizhen, general manager of the company. Lin added she was impressed with the favorable policies and considerate services of the local government.

In addition, new gadgets from Pingtan also made waves at the fair. “What you’re touching now is the sea modeling after the natural wonder - “Sea Sparkle.” Pingtan’s bioluminescence has been a big hit across the country.

Pingtan Yuanjing Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. brought a variety of cultural creations featuring “Sea Sparkle” and introduced it in detail at the fair. Lin Shaofu, general manager of Pingtan Vision Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd., noted that he hopes to increase the profile of Pingtan by rolling out more cultural and creative products pertaining to Pingtan.
