The 2022 Pingtan Beach Ultimate Frisbee Open wrapped up in Pingtan, an island off E China’s Fujian province as well as a rising international tourism island in China. The game is part of the 2022 China (Pingtan) Beach Games. 

This competition attracted many international friends. Dax from the United States showed great passion. He said:” Although it’s hot today and the game is tiring, I am honored to win the championship.”

The two winning teams also received the title of “Spirit of the Game.” "There was no referee to preside the game. It all lied upon both teams to keep rules and integrity in check during the match, which wasn't easy. Thus this hard-to-come-by glory is even more precious," said Chen Jiehong, a player from the champion The B Team.

"We were slightly concerned due to the forecasted typhoon and Covid resurgence. But, it didn't affect the enthusiasm we have seen from the players for the past two days. Surprisingly, things were more exciting than we expected," said Sun Changjun, manager of the beach games.

The beach games involve eight series of events, namely: Pingtan Beach Athletics Open, Pingtan Beach Kite Festival, China （Pingtan）Canoe Ocean Racing Open, Pingtan Beach Ultimate Frisbee Open, Pingtan Sailing Race, Fujian Coastline Sailing Rally, Fujian Beach Volleyball Competition for College Students, and Fujian University Line Dance Championship for College Students.
