Pingtan hosts regatta

Twenty-one teams of seasoned sailors gathered on September 10 in Pingtan, a rising international tourism island off E.China's Fujian province as the island welcomed the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday with a regatta and other holiday thrills. 12 of the 21 teams were made up of families. Compared with conventional offshore sailing, the race took place inshore with two categories of sailboats- Hobie 16 and Hobie Getaway. Feel the speed and passion of the sport through the dash of riveting colors in the waves! Swift and striking!
