Shanghai Shyndec Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., led by Zhou Bin, chairman of the company, paid a visit to Pingtan. Huang Jianbo, vice-secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Administrative Committee of Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone met the delegation on October 14. Both parties conducted in-depth exchanges on potential cooperation.

Huang welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the development of Pingtan as the only zone for piloting cross-Straits integration on the mainland. Huang pointed out that Pingtan’s development and opening up is a national strategy. Pingtan has been endowed with a slew of unparalleled policies. He also introduced that Pingtan Haixi Quarantine Center is the only comprehensive center for the quarantine of imported plants and animals in the country, which also provides strong support for the development of related industries.

Zhou Bin said that Pingtan boasts unique advantage for its geographical proximity to the island of Taiwan and enormous growth potential.The company will strengthen communication with Pingtan to step up the landing of related projects to achieve a win-win collaboration.

The delegation also visited the Pingtan Haixi Quarantine Center.
