Pingtan ensures stable daily supply amid Covid flare-up

As Covid resurged, provisions have become a concern for the public. On the same day, reporters from Pingtan CMC visited and learned that the local food markets have no problem meeting consumers’demand with stable prices.
“I feel that the goods in the supermarket are sufficient. The food ingredients are fresh, like any other day,” said Zhu Yanlin, a local resident.
Xue Wen, an official from the Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Pingtan, introduced that 10 main grain distributors across Pingtan have over 10 tons of reserves, and processing enterprises also have 260 tons of grain, including rice, flour, and noodles, etc., which ensure ample food supply.
