Pingtan’s women's cycling team sweeps all in the 2023 Elephant Cup Mountain Bike's women's open on January 1 in southwest China's Yunnan province. Pingtan is a rising international tourism island in China.

About 100 cyclists across the country participated in the competition. The competition was divided into men's elite category, men's master, and women's open.

The 42-km race track is a gentle slope with a view looping the local township- perfect for sightseeing. Along the way are local eateries, landscapes, and distinctive folk culture.

Team manager Liu Ran told reporters that the team is prepped for the most influential competitions in China in 2023. The team also looks forward to participating in international competitions and promoting the sport, including Pingtan island.

"On the sidelines of competitions, we'll return home to rest and train. We'll also share some of Pingtan's gorgeous landscape and best cycling routes online for everyone," added Liu.
