The first national five-a-side baseball championship wrapped up in Pingtan after two days of intense competition on March 12. Congratulations to Fujian Normal University, Zhongshan Dongsheng Senior High School, and Zhongshan Panda Baseball and Softball Club on coming first in the college, open, and U15 groups, respectively.

Guo Chenyang, captain of the Zhongshan Dongsheng Senior High School team, told reporters that five-a-side baseball is still in its infancy, and this competition gave him a glimpse of the strength of teams from all over the country. He hopes to work with everyone to promote the development of baseball in China. "We took advantage of this championship to prepare for the next international competition," Guo Chenyang said.

Baseball and softball are team sports that combine intelligence, courage, fun, and collaboration. In recent years, Pingtan has held a series of youth baseball and softball competitions, which not only meet the competitive needs of young people at different ages, but also provide a platform for sports exchanges.
