New 24-hour urban library in Pingtan opens

The Jinjing 24-hour Urban Library in Pingtan officially opened on March 7. Covering an area of 375 square meters, the library has approximately 100 seats and currently houses around 4,000 books. It also features various independent spaces, including a self-study area, a self-service borrowing and returning area, a digital experience area, a cultural corridor area, and a leisure salon area, catering to the different needs of readers. According to reports, the Jinjing area will host picture book events for young families, reading salons, and sharing sessions, enriching the services of the urban library. These activities aim to inspire more people to read and instill a quality lifestyle in society.
