Pingtan Ocean Science and Technology Cultural Center, a key provincial project, is nearing completion and is expected to be ready for handover by the end of June.

The project reflects a design style that blends modern technology with local culture and is expected to become a new cultural landmark in the area, catering to public recreation and leisure activities such as cultural exhibitions, popular science education, and literary reading.

With an investment of approximately 488 million yuan and a construction area of about 52,000 square meters, the Center constitutes a library, an art gallery, a cultural center, a women's and children's activity center, an immersive underwater world, and other facilities. Each venue area meets national and provincial standards.

The Pingtan Marine Science and Technology Cultural Center will showcase the region's rich cultural heritage and technological advancements.
