On June 12, the two-day 2023 Pingtan Beach Ultimate Frisbee Invitational Tournament concluded at the Pingtan Beach Sports Base, with 16 teams from all over China and over 200 Frisbee enthusiasts in attendance. In an impressive display of athleticism, FLAME (Fuzhou), Watcher (Shanghai), and Jiawei Free Frisbee Club dominated the competition in the fiercely competitiveApool, while Team Egret (Xiamen) and Hu Cares (Shanghai) claimed the top two spots inBpool.

The event unfolded against soaring frisbees as players demonstrated finesse in seamless passes, agile leaps, and impressive catches. Huang Haijuan, a player from the Ants' Black Fangs of southern Fujian, was thrilled to participate in her first beach Frisbee competition and play with friends from across the country. She was also impressed with the thoughtful services provided by the Pingtan organizers.

Beach ultimate Frisbee is a challenging sport that requires athletes to have excellent physical fitness, reflexes, stability, speed, and agility, especially on soft sand.

The tournament included a range of programs, such as Frisbee golf, Frisbee carnival, evening parties, and more, which attracted Frisbee enthusiasts from all over the country to participate and watch.

Qiu Yuhua from the Jiawei Free Frisbee Club in Shenzhen praised Pingtan for not only having high-quality beaches but also delicious seafood. Overall, the competition was an amazing experience for all participants.
