China's National Opera and Dance Drama Theater tocelebrate anniversary of Pingtan's art theater with stunning performance

“Drunk Beauty” is an original choreography by the Chinese National Opera and Dance Drama Theater. Having graced South Korea, Cambodia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, the United States, and Australia, the show has garnered global praise for stunning visuals, captivating music scores, and evocative choreography.
The dance weaves on the tale of a beautiful concubine who indulged in a few too many drinks, slipping into a dreamlike slumber within the palace walls. It depicts a lady's moving grace and alluring beauty, as well as the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty, incorporating both traditional and modern dance.
Pingtan International Performing Arts Center, located on Pingtan Island of E China's Fujian province, opened its doors in July 2022. Since then, it has become a popular venue for cultural events and performances. A series of cultural dances, operas, and traditional music will take place this month to celebrate the joyous occasion.
