11th Cross-Straits Taekwondo Exchange Competition kicks off in Pingtan

The competition has attracted 635 participants, including 40 athletes from Taiwan aged 6 to 23. The event encompasses diverse categories such as forms, sparring, acrobatics, breaking, taekwondo dance, and nunchaku.
The competition is broadcasted live on various online platforms for wider coverage.
Since its inception in 2012, the event has successfully held ten editions. It serves as an innovative platform forcultural exchanges and fosters deeper integrationbetween the two sides of the Taiwan Straits, aiming to create an inclusive entertainment, sports, and tourism extravaganza that involves widespread participation in the realm of taekwondo.
