The successful opening ceremony at the Jinjing International Cruise Terminal sets a positive tone for the future of the island's cruise tourism.
The "Blue Dream Star" is the maiden vessel under the Blue Dream Cruises brand, with a total tonnage of 25,000 tons and a maximum capacity of 1,053 passengers. Nearly 600 tourists embarked on the cruise ship at the Jinjing International Cruise Terminal in Pingtan, commencing a journey to Subic, Philippines, with Xiamen, China, as the final destination. Over the course of five days and four nights, passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy the coastal splendor of these destinations while partaking in various entertainment activities on board.
The inauguration of the Pingtan International Cruise Center signifies the beginning of a new chapter in cruise tourism for Pingtan. It aims to leverage its geographic advantages to expedite the development of cruise routes in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia.
