Pingtan Street Music Festival sets off cultural sparks

The rock festival was live-streamed, electrifying the weekend mood for netizens who enjoyed the captivating performances from the comfort of their homes.
On the evening of the 18th, Taiwan singer Tang Youlin performed popular Chinese songs such as "Love to Strive, Only Then Can You Win" and "Crossing the Ocean to See You," eliciting cheers from the audience. "The atmosphere tonight is amazing! I am delighted to be in Pingtan and spend a wonderful evening with all of you," Tang said.
Apart from the Pingtan Street Music Festival, the island is gearing up for five more street concerts from November to December. The goal is to create a consistent, recurring, and lively art performance vibe, contributing to Pingtan's aspiration of becoming a hub for music and art on the island.
"Moving forward, we will hold music concerts every weekend evening," said Chen Yuan, an official from the Pingtan Tourism and Culture Service Center. The center aims to optimize the street music concerts and work towards a youthful and fashionable music IP for the city, offering both residents and visitors a unique and joyful experience.
