Tourists like Ma Yanlu, opting to stay in a Qingfeng Village homestay, express delight in the opportunity to engage in unique experiences such as seashell picking and purchasing fresh seafood for her own cooking. Securing reservations for reunion dinners has become a significant challenge. A recent exploration of various restaurants indicates a substantial increase in demand compared to the previous year. On Longfeng Road, a seafood restaurant experiences a surge in reservations, signaling the heightened interest in dining out for the New Year's Eve dinner. The deputy general manager, Huang Jun, highlights the variety of reunion dinner packages offered, featuring local Pingtan seafood combined with Cantonese and Sichuan cuisines. The popularity of these packages is evident in the fully booked private dining rooms, prompting early preparations by the kitchen staff to ensure a memorable dining experience for customers.
