On February 19, around 18:40, the Chinese vessel "Fucheng" departed from Pingtan, carrying approximately 4,900 tons of raw granite destined for the Port of Chinese Taipei. This marks a significant breakthrough as Pingtan Port achieves zero breakthroughs in directly shipping raw granite to Taiwan.
This year, regular exports of raw granite will commence from Jinjing Port, with two weekly trips planned, possibly increasing to four trips shortly. The granite is mainly used for reclamation projects and construction purposes.
